Live chat with James Purnell on what it means to be on the left

From @LabourList / @OpenLeftProject

From 11am this morning, James Purnell will be joining us for a Live webchat. He’ll be talking about his new project, Open Left, which launched last night with a debate with Jon Cruddas, Will Hutton, Jess Search and Lewis Iwu.

To start the discussion, LabourList will put to James some of the questions raised in your comments under his post this morning and Alex’s tweets last night. Then we’ll open the discussion up for further questions and debate on the three key questions being studied by Open Left:

What is it about your political beliefs that make you think you’re on the left, rather than the right?

How would you describe the sort of society you want Britain to be?

What makes you most angry about the way Britain is today?
