So what were your favourite blog posts from this year?

Editor Alex Smith has listed his personal favourite LabourList contributions from the site’s first year. But what the blogosphere as a whole?

In the four days up to New Year’s Eve LabourList will be running its review of 2009, a look at the past 12 months in politics from the perspective of the blog posts which reported, analysed and, increasingly, shaped developments.

We’re asking readers to nominate their favourite posts from this year (not from LabourList). These could be something that challenged your view on a subject, that broke a big story, something that made you laugh (or cry).

We’re trying to get an equal spread across the year so do cast your mind back. Let us know by commenting below or tweeting @LabourList with #blogreview and a link.

Do you value LabourList’s coverage? We need your support.

Our independent journalists have been on the ground during this local and by-election campaign, which marks the first key electoral test of Keir Starmer’s government.

We’ve been out and about with Labour activists and candidates across the country from Bristol to Hull, and will soon be heading to Cambridgeshire and Lancashire – as well as Runcorn and Helsby. We’ve also polled readers for their views on the campaign.

LabourList relies on donations from readers like you to continue its fair, fast, reliable and well-informed news and analysis. We don’t have party funding or billionaire owners.

If you value what we do, set up a regular donation today.
