UPDATE: Tory Stories are also on Twitter: @ToryStories.
Two new Labour websites have been launched in the past couple of days, which together add further firepower to the left’s growing online influence.
Hilary Benn launched Back the Ban in an email to Labour supporters yesterday. The Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs said:
“Until the hunting ban came in five years ago, hunts killed foxes across the country every Boxing Day. Now it’s different. Next year it could be different again. Many Conservative MPs and candidates want to repeal the ban. Don’t let them get the chance.”
The campaign was launched with this video featuring Patrick Stewart, Tony Robinson and Jenny Seagrove.
You can sign up to Back the Ban here.
Today, Jon Cruddas and Chuka Umunna have launched Tory Stories, a project that will scrutinise Tory councils, councillors and local policy in a similar vein to LabourList’s own Cameron’s Councils section.
Singling out LabourList, Left Foot Forward and 38 Degrees Tim Montgomerie of ConservativeHome says:
“There are clearer and clearer signs that the Right’s dominance of the internet is being challenged as never before”.
You can still see the LabourList full BlogList here.
