With the Prime Minister at crucial power sharing talks in Northern Ireland, Harriet Harman will face William Hague across the dispatch box. Topics which may be raised at this week’s PMQs include the economy’s exit from recession, Northern Ireland, the Iraq Inquiry and the new National Equality Panel report.
Watch out for: Harman possibly making light of Ken Clarke’s vacillations on VAT and Hague joking about Tony Blair’s prospective return to the campaign trail. Bury North MP David Chaytor, scheduled third on the order paper, is likely to receive a rough ride from Tories and Lib Dems following recent revelations about his expenses.
Members scheduled to ask questions include John Whittingdale, Pete Wishart, David Chaytor, David Jones, Michael Clapham, Evan Harris, Anne Main and David Davies. The full Order of Business is available on the Parliament website.
