Former Labour leader and Prime Minister Tony Blair returned to the campaign trail in north west London today, to show support for Labour’s campaign for re-election. Blair paid a visit to a Labour-funded health clinic in Harrow, where he met staff, talked to journalists and had his blood pressure taken for the cameras.
Asked whether Gordon Brown had failed to get across his message in the leaders’ debates, Blair supported Brown saying “I don’t think he’s failed at all. I think if people actually look and listen to the substance they will see somebody who is completely honest, who knows his facts, knows exactly the policies that the country should follow.”
