Here are the latest odds from Ladbrokes on the Labour Party leadership:
David Miliband 4/6
Ed Miliband 9/4
Andy Burnham 8/1
Ed Balls 11/1
Diane Abbott 25/1
John McDonnell 100/1
While David Miliband is still clear favourite, Ed Miliband’s odds have shortened even since Sunday, from 3/1 to 9/4, while David Miliband’s have lengthened from 4/7 to 4/6.
Struggling to get the required nominations to be on the ballot, Diane Abbott’s price has slipped from 20/1 to 25/1.
Andy Burnham and Ed Balls have each both seen their odds lengthen, as the momentum moves behind the Milibands: Ladbrokes are now offering 8/1-on that the next Labour leader will be a Miliband.
Nick Weinberg of Ladbrokes said “Ed Miliband has got his second wind and is beginning to turn up the heat on his brother.”
