On Saturday, the Fabians will hold the first major post-election conference, at the Brunei Gallery at SOAS in London.
The conference will be taking place within days of the formation of a new government, and will be a big platform for a number of voices to speak about where the left and centre-left go in the wake of the election.
Yesterday, the Fabians announced that the keynote speaker will be Ed Miliband.
Other speakers include:
David Lammy, Kerry McCarthy, John Denham, Steve Richards (The Independent), Deborah Mattinson (pollster), Sunder Katwala (Fabian Society), Gaby Hinsliff (former political editor of the Observer), Clifford Singer (creator of MyDavidCameron.com), Mary Riddell (Daily Telegraph), Ellie Gellard (Stilettoed Socialist), Chuka Umunna MP, Mark Pack (Co-Editor, Liberal Democrat Voice), Ellie Levenson (Journalist & Author, The Noughtie Girl’s Guide to Feminism).
More speakers will be announced throughout the week.
Join us there this Saturday. Tickets cost £10 for both members and non-members (with a free 6-month Fabian membership for non-members). To purchase your tickets please visit www.fabians.org.uk or call 0207 227 4900.
