* A new poll in the Guardian shows that voters are worried about the economy – and that Labour are gaining on the Tories…

* Also in the the Guardian, there’s a write up of the leadership race as nominations close.

* The FT says David Miliband is the candidate who can challenge the Labour Party.

* Meanwhile, in typical Express style, they say this morning that Ed Miliband will “destroy” the Labour Party.

* Mary Riddell says that justice is a key issue for Labour’s would-be leaders.

* Steve Richards says that the Tories are running the show, and getting their own way.

* Sunder Katwala asks if 2.7 million voters feel betrayed by Nick Clegg.

* And Peter Mandelson has criticised the government over Sheffield Forgemasters – after heading back to his old department to look at the papers.
