Deputy Speaker, fomer children’s minister and Labour MP Dawn Primarolo will be stepping down from the commons in 2015. According to the BBC:
“Bristol South MP and former minister Dawn Primarolo is to stand down at the next general election. The Labour MP, who has been in the seat since 1987, told Bristol South Labour Party members of her decision at a meeting on Thursday night.”
“[Primarolo] said: “It has been immensely rewarding to play a role in improving our communities, and I will always be grateful to people in Bristol South for giving me the opportunity to represent them in Parliament.”
