With Tony Lloyd standing down as PLP Chair as he seeks to become Manchester’s new police commissioner, today Labour MPs have been voting on his replacement. The candidates were John Cryer and Dave Watts, with Watts coming out on top.

We’ll be profiling the new PLP chair tomorrow. Congratulations to Dave and commiserations to John.
