George Galloway “very keen to be in Labour”

Former Respect leader Salma Yaqoob tells the Guardian:

“George is also very keen to be in Labour, and this is the irony – he’s always said to me if you have an approach [from Labour] just make sure that I can come back in,”

There are few things in life we can say there’s zero chance of, but George Galloway being allowed back into the Labour Party is surely one of them…

As for Yaqoob herself, seemingly Labour aren’t the only party to have expressed an interest in the past, with the Guardian reporting:

“Yaqoob did not deny the possibility that she will join another party. All three main parties have approached her.”
