Tomorrow (Tuesday, January 15th) we’ll be publishing Jon Cruddas’s pamphlet “One Nation Labour: Debating the future” which will bring together a wide range of potential ideas which could make up Labour’s next manifesto. You’ll be able to download it directly from LabourList.
We’ll also be hosting a launch debate tomorrow night in Parliament as part of Labour’s Policy Review – if you want to attend, please email [email protected].
One of the speakers tomorrow night is John Denham, who told us:
“The idea of One Nation suggests much more than a choice between different political parties; it suggests we want to tell a story about what we want our country to become. That’s not the story story of any old country but our own – Britain and its nations – so One Nation will require us to tell a progressive, patriotic story of who we were and who we can be.”
