It seems the Tories are at least learning something from their coalition partners. Labour activists are used to seeing handwritten letters from Lib Dems talking about their candidacy without mentioning which party they’re from – and now a Tory has done the same.
Even more remarkably, he’s done it in True Blue Tory country – Salisbury (with a constituency-wide majority of six thousand). Why so shy, Matthew Dean? (Click on the image to enlarge)
We particularly enjoyed the reference to the “unelected bureaucrats from Trowbridge”. They are supposed to be held account by the Tory unitary councillors – who run the council already with a vast majority…
