Labour leader attacked with salami sandwich

Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard narrowly avoided being caught by a stray salami sandwich whilst campaigning at a school, after the offending food item was flung at her by a student:

Bizarrely – this is the second time Gillard has been the victim of flying sandwiches, a few weeks ago ata  different school she was nearly the victim of a Vegemite sandwich missile:

A sandwich is preferable to “green slime” though…
