Few will have noticed, what with the CSR taking place today, but there was a written ministerial statement this afternoon confirming that both the 2014 local elections and EU elections will take place on the same day – Thursday 22nd May 2014.
Large parts of Britain – including many urban areas – now have their election date.
What better day could there be to remind people how important it is to fight the Tories…?
