Andy Burnham receives apology from Department of Health – but he says Hunt still has questions to answer

We’ve been covering the row between Jeremy Hunt and Andy Burnham for a while now – including Burnham’s comprehensive demolition of Hunt’s attacks which we published at the weekend. In the past 24 hours there’s been a flurry of letters flying around – as covered in the Guardian today – including a letter from the permanent secretary of the Department of Health (published below).

However that letter has thrown up even more questions for Jeremy Hunt – and Andy Burnham wants those questions answered. We’ve also posted Burnham’s letter to Hunt (below) – this row isn’t over yet, because the duplicitous Health Secretary is obfuscating when he should be apologising and owning up.
