Labour’s energy price freeze campaign will be stepped up this week, as the party seeks to return to focussing on the cost of living crisis after recent weeks were dominated by Ed Miliband’s row with the Mail and the recent reshuffle.
The energy price freeze – currently Labour’s signature policy as the general election campaign begins to ramp up – will be placed front and centre, and with that in mind, 500,000 leaflets will be delivered this week (on top of over 100,000 leaflets that have already been delivered on this).
In addition, the party will be producing 100,000 voters in key marginal seats with direct mails about the policy, and the novelty large ice cube the party produced for the campaign will be touring the country. If you’re wondering what that looks like – here is is (with Ed Miliband):
