Election time brings out the best in party material. In the past few weeks, we’ve already seen the world’s dodgiest bar chart and the candidate who doesn’t like to say what party he’s in.
Now, with only a few days until polls open, parties are really putting their Get Out The Vote operations into gear, trying to convince electors that they are the ones with momentum. One way of doing this is quoting local residents on your campaign literature, which is just what the Focus Team Party Lib Dems in Redbridge have done.
Now, no one is suggesting that “man” from Orchard Estate isn’t real, but from our experience it does help if the local resident helpfully sticking faithfully to the party line has a name.
Just to avoid confusion, let’s run through that again:
Focus Team = Liberal Democrats
“man” = ????????????
If you are a man, live on Orchard Estate, and recognise this quote as being your own, please get in touch – LabourList would love to find this definitely real Lib Dem voter.
