Weekly Survey: Lib-Lab coalition, by-elections and conference season

have your say ll (long)

The Liberal Democrats have said that a demand for taxes to be raised would be a “red line” in any future coalition agreement with the Tories – in other words, there would be no coalition if the Tories didn’t agree. On top of that, Lib Dem activists seem to be keener to strike an agreement with Ed Miliband than David Cameron.

So what would be Labour’s priority in a coalition agreement with the Lib Dems? If you could pick one “red line” policy, what would it be?

There are two by-elections this week, on in Clacton and another in Heywood and Middleton. One Labour is expected to win and one UKIP is expected to win.

But how do you think Labour will actually perform in each?

With the Lib Dems in Glasgow, conference season is coming to end.

Which party came out top of conference season: Labour, the Tories, UKIP, or the Lib Dems?
