A few months ago we reported that Labour Party membership was edging up towards the 200,000 mark (it was around 194,000 at the time). Today the Labour Party have confirmed that the party’s membership is now over 200,000 (200,053to be precise) – meaning that Labour will go into next week’s election with its largest membership in 15 years.
This follows the news overnight that Labour members have made over four million conversations since January – with a target of a million more before election day.
