Labour’s latest video, which was played today at the party’s rally in Central London, features a “mystery guest” who endorses Miliband.
This mystery guest (scroll down to the video now if you’d rather find out for yourself who it is) is snooker player Ronnie O’Sullivan.
O’Sullivan gave his endorsement to Oliver Coppard – who is standing to be the MP in Sheffield Hallam against deputy PM and leader of the Liberal Democrats Nick Clegg – earlier in the week.
O’Sullivan says the following in the video, explaining his reason for backing Labour:
“I’ve never been interested in politics before and didn’t feel any politician spoke for me. But having met Ed and chatted to him over a few games, I feel he’s someone I can believe in. That’s why I encourage everyone on the 7th May to vote Labour. And vote for the best man to be our next Prime Minister: Ed Miliband”
