Shadow Cabinet member calls for “clean break” – and suggests “metropolitan elite” perception harmed Labour

Most members of the Shadow Cabinet have refrained from commenting on the lessons from Labour’s loss on Thursday – but one member of the Shadow Cabinet, Jon Trickett, has taken to Twitter to outline some of his theories on why Labour lost:

That’s not the only analysis Trickett has made though:

Those are still Labour policies – despite the election being over. Will we see other members of the Shadow Cabinet deviate from the party line quite so starkly before the leadership election gets underway?
