Former paratrooper Dan Jarvis has moved to the Shadow Foreign Affairs team in a small reshuffle of Labour’s frontbench today. The moves are prompted by the select committee chair elections last week, and John Spellar’s decision to stand down from his shadow minister role.

Stephen Twigg was elected as chair of the International Development Select Committee, while Iain Wright was voted chair of the Business, Industry and Skills committee. You can see the full Labour select committee chair results here.

Wayne David, has moved into the Shadow Justice and Cabinet Office teams, Stephen Doughty has joined Shadow Business and Jessica Morden has joined the Whips’ Office. David will remain as Harriet Harman’s PPS and his role as part of the Scotland team.
