Labour members will have an increased number of opportunities to quiz the leadership candidates after the party added several hustings to the summer schedule, including one that was expected to be held today.
There are now nine official events planned but, as recently as last week, only six debates had been confirmed.
So four events have taken place, all in the first half of August. A further five hustings have been arranged by the Labour Party.
One is scheduled to take place this evening, hosted by Channel 4 – despite the Corbyn campaign’s initial reluctance to participate in a debate arranged by the broadcaster. It is unclear whether this will go ahead.
This will be followed by a hustings in Glasgow on Thursday night. Two are due to be held in early September, although venues are yet to be confirmed, with BBC Question Time and Sky News both presenting a Corbyn v Smith clash.
