UPDATE: A new ComRes poll for ITV News/The Independent shows the Tories down one point on 37%, Labour up one point to 29%, and the Lib Dems up one to 26%.
UPDATE: Opinium in the Express shows the Tories down one to 33%, with Labour up three points to 28% and the Lib Dems down one to 27%.
Tonight’s YouGov tracker shows the Tories up one point to 35%, with Labour unchanged on 28% and the Lib Dems down a point, also on 28%.
The latest wave of Ipsos-Mori polling in the key marginal seats, conducted over the weekend, shows the race tightening, with the Tories up one to 36%, Labour down two also on 36% and the Lib Dems down one point to 20%.
That’s an overall swing of 7% in those seats to the Tories since 2005. However, Ipsos-Mori reports:
“Given that national polls are suggesting the Conservatives are more likely to lose seats to the Liberal Democrats than gain from them, [a] majority is not necessarily guaranteed.”
A ComRes poll is due at 10pm.
