Two weeks ago on LabourList, we relaunched David v Goliath, alongside Labour campaign organisations Progress and Compass.
The initiative, initially set up by Progress, was designed to help support Labour’s candidates in the Tories’ top 100 target marginal seats – those which are receiving particularly heavy backing from Tory peer Lord Ashcroft.
We’ve already raised just under £2,000, which will pay for direct mailings to nearly 4,000 voters, or for leaflets to reach voters on hundreds of streets in those marginals.
Compared with Lord Ashcroft’s deep pockets, £2,000 may not seem like a lot – but it’s small donations like these which are keeping Labour ahead in some of the most crucial seats in this election.
With polling day just 10 days away now, we need your help again, so we can ramp up our campaign in these crucial final days and in these most crucial seats.
Please donate what you can to your chosen Labour candidate. It really will make a difference.
The candidate with the most single donations will receive an additional £1,000 top up from one of David v Goliath’s supporters.
