In tonight’s YouGov tracking poll, the Lib Dems have slipped down four points to 24%, with Labour up two points to 30% and the Tories unchanged on 35%.
ComRes’ poll for ITV News/The Independent tonight shows all three parties unchanged since yesterday, with the Tories on 37%, Labour on 29% and the Lib Dems on 26%.
Translated to Thursday’s election on a uniform swing the ComRes numbers would deliver a hung parliament, with the Tories the largest party on 294 seats, Labour on 251 and the Lib Dems on 74.
However, ComRes reports that nearly one in four (38%) of respondents could still change their mind before polling day, including 34% of those who currently say they will vote Labour, 32% of those who say they’ll vote Tory and 41% of those who say they will vote Lib Dem.
