* At last night’s Fabian debate, sponsored by LabourList, the candidates were asked if they were socialists. The Fabian blog recorded what they said.

* The Fabians also recorded the opening statements of all of the candidates.

* “For me, Labour’s candidate must be Ken Livingstone. He has my vote, and I call on all Labour members to unite behind him, too.” Jon Cruddas, tipped by some as a future mayor of London, backs Ken.

* George Osborne accused Labour of “fiddling the books” through economic forecasts as the OBR gave its first report yesterday.

* Osborne also questioned where Gordon Brown was, and said that the former Prime Minister owes the people of Britain an apology.

* “Will immigration define the leadership election?, Richard Darlington thinks so in the Guardian.

* The Telegraph have covered our latest leadership poll — you can read their reaction here.

* And the Daily Mail claims this morning that Ed Balls was a Conservative at University.
