Tory MP George Freeman is clearly so frustrated at the changing nature of his own government’s messages on the NHS that he’s given up communicating with his constituents completely. Constituents who email him now receive the following message, redirecting them to his website and saying that “he will not be able to expand upon this statement”. Be assured though that George “is working hard to guarantee a world class National Health Service for everyone”.
Although presumably he won;t be expanding on what such a service would entail.
You can read the bizarre email for yourself below.

Dear
Due to the overwhelming volume of correspondence George has received about the Health and Social Care Bill, and the changing nature of this issue, he has decided to address as many of your concerns as possible through a statement on his website. This can be found at http://www.georgefreeman.co.uk/content/health-and-social-care-bill.
He hopes that this statement will answer all of your queries, and he will endeavour to keep it up to date with his views on the latest developments in relation to this matter.
Unfortunately, he will not be able to expand upon this statement, and suggests that you monitor his website for his latest reaction to any new developments.
He would like me to thank you for expressing your interest in this matter, and to assure you that he is working hard to guarantee a world class National Health Service for everyone.
Yours sincerely,
XXXX
