It has been several months coming, but today LabourList has changed – welcome to the latest version of the site.
Over the next few weeks this “beta” version of our new site will be live. We’re very proud of it, but it’s still a work in progress, and we’ll be testing and updating in the weeks ahead. Changes to the site include:
- a greater focus on news, as well as comment – making the site your go to place for Labour news
- taking a look at the wider movement outside of Westminster, including Scotland, Wales and the Union movement
- expanding our popular coverage of seats and selections as we head towards the 2015 general election
While we’re beta-testing the new site, our daily email “the LunchtimeList” will be on hiatus – but it will return when the site is given a full launch in the coming weeks. We’ll let you know all about that launch when it’s ready. We’ll be taking the time to revamp the LunchtimeList to make it more relevant to you, and to make it a better resource for Labour members and supporters.
The change over to the site also means that the way comments work on the site has changed (and will continue to change). Comments for old posts are no longer displayed, but we’re moving towards a new system which we hope will make joining the debate easier then ever before.
Thanks for your support, and thanks for reading LabourList – we hope you like the new site as much as we do.
