We’ve now got a full year of growth data to look over since the spending review, so we can compare it to the twelve months before the spending review. So how’s George doing?

As the ONS puts it: “GDP has increased by 0.5% over the latest year, a significant slowdown from the 2.6% growth in the preceding 12 months”
