Today’s YouGov poll shows that Labour’s poll lead now stands at 14 points, with the Tories at an unprecedented poll low of 28% – despite the prevailing Westminster Village wisdom being that they would receive a poll bounce from their stance on Welfare, and the coverage surrounding the death of Margaret Thatcher.

In fact – YouGov are the third pollster to record the Tories as being at their lowest polling position, alongside after Opinium and TNS BMRB. Today’s YouGov polling is as follows:
LAB: 42 CON: 28 LD: 12 UKIP: 11
