[liveblog]The New Statesman has a leaked letter from Unite General Secretary Len McCluskey to Unite members in the beleaguered Falkirk West Constituency.
The constituency was placed in special measures as a result of an NEC investigation into allegations of irregularities in the selection process.
In the letter McCluskey says:
“Unite is being subjected to a behind-the-scenes smear campaign. We will be challenging this procedure and this campaign through all proper channels within the Party, publicly and by legal action if necessary.”
