Ed Miliband recently said that Prime Minister’s Questions “puts people off politics”. Last week, Mark Ferguson agreed, asking what it had to do with life. This week, Cameron joined the chorus, saying PMQs “is a nightmare” when questioned by young people.
Jim Murphy has been leader of Scottish Labour for little over 50 days now. With under 100 days to go until the election, some polls show an improvement for the fortunes of Scottish Labour, while others see very little change. Murphy certainly seems to be running a higher profile than previous leaders, and announced this week that Scottish Labour would have its own manifesto this year.
As soon as the general election is over, the race for London Mayor will begin. Over the last month, we’ve seen a few potential candidates for the Labour nomination raising their profile.
