Weekly Survey: Coalition, campaign and leadership

have your say ll (long)

We are now over halfway through the short campaign, and very little movement has been spotted in the polls. We’ve had manifestos, pledges and difficult interviews – but how would you rate Labour’s campaign so far?

On current polling, it would seem a hung parliament is the likeliest outcome. If Labour have chance to form a government, and had a choice, what would be your preferred type of government?

Finally, Ed Miliband’s personal ratings appear to be on the upturn, while he has also won more plaudits for his media appearances recently. How would you rate his overall performance as Labour leader?

The survey will close on Thursday at 11am, and the most interesting results can be heard first on the LabourList podcast. You can vote here.

Our independent journalists have been on the ground during this local and by-election campaign, which marks the first key electoral test of Keir Starmer’s government.

We’ve been out and about with Labour activists and candidates across the country from Bristol to Hull, and will soon be heading to Cambridgeshire and Lancashire – as well as Runcorn and Helsby. We’ve also polled readers for their views on the campaign.
