The Tories have registered a 12 point lead in a major pollster’s final survey of the campaign.
Theresa May’s party climbed to 46 per cent in ICM’s final poll before tomorrow’s general election.
Labour is on 34 per cent, which puts it well down on some recent estimates by other polling companies.
If the preliminary prediction poll for The Guardian is correct then the Tories would be on course for a huge majority and the two main parties would hoover up the bulk of the vote share, in contrast to the last election.
ICM (comparison with ICM/Guardian poll on Monday)
Conservative: 46 per cent (+1)
Labour: 34 per cent (no change)
Lib Dems: 7 per cent (-1)
UKIP: 5 per cent (nc)
Others: 8 per cent (-1)
