Today Cardiff South members selected Stephen Doughty – the head of Oxfam Cymru – as the Labour candidate for the upcoming Cardiff South and Penarth by-election in November. Doughty will be looking to replace outgoing MP Alun Michael, who is seeking to be police commissioner for South Wales.
Congratulations to Stephen and commiserations to the other short listed candidates.
