In recent days the Boris Johnson campaign have produced a “Not Ken Again” poster with a fairly predictable set of attacks on the Labour candidate. In response, Livingstone’s team have produced this:
A spokesperson for the Ken campaign told LabourList:
“Over the last few days we’ve been inundated here at Labour HQ with phonecalls and emails from members of the public complaining about Boris Johnson’s advertising campaign. It is the latest in a long line of negative smear tactics from Johnson’s Campaign Director, Lynton Crosby. They are terrified of the movement we’ve created behind Ken’s Fare Deal. So we thought we’d add a little bit of reality and honesty to the poster! Hope you like it.”
