We must learn the lessons from 1992 in order to avoid suffering the same fate, Ed Miliband has been warned. In a video for the Sunday Politics, former Labour adviser Paul Richards says we need to be prepared for the fact that polls naturally narrow around elections, while MP Frank Field says that party activists are completely behind the leader, but are worried by the dangers of a “35% strategy”.
