The Observer are reporting that Tony Blair has said he’ll do whatever the Labour party wants to help them win in May.
However, it’s reported that Labour officials have been in contact with Blair’s office for a number of weeks to discuss what he might do in the election campaign. Spokespeople from Blair’s office said that regarding “his involvement in the party’s election campaign, he will do whatever the party wants”.
At the moment this remains speculation and it’s unclear as to whether the Labour party will ask Blair to play any role in the campaign.
We’ll keep you updated on any further developments.
