Labour Party Conference – September 2025
The LabourList team returned to Liverpool to deliver our signature rally and standout panels to our iconic annual karaoke and DJ night at The Bierkeller Bar.
We ran nine fantastic panels, exploring everything from how to stop the rise of the Greens, to Starmer’s choices in the face of Trump’s America, to the growing attendance crisis amongst school pupils. We had amazing panelists, including Baroness Thangam Debbonaire, Mark Drakeford MS, Paul Sweeney MSP, Kim Johnson MP, Joe Powell MP, Sarah Smith MP, Helen Hayes MP, Josh Simons MP, Laura Kyrke-Smith MP, Dame Chi Onwurah MP, Gordon McKee MP and Baroness Jacqui Smith, and many many more.
At LabourList’s signature Rally, and lhosted Deputy Leadership candidates Lucy Powell MP and Bridget Phillipson MP, as well as Ministers Steve Reed MP, James Murray MP and LabourList readers’ favourite Ed Miliband MP. Monday broughtLabourList’s signature Karaoke and DJ night. We had a great lineup of guest DJs and karaoke stars, including Heidi Alexander MP, Dawn Butler MP, Emily Thornberry MP, Alison McGovern MP, Stephen Kinnock MP, Mayor Steve Rotheram, Alistair Strathern MP, Tulip Siddiq MP, Dr Jeevun Sandher MP, Mark Ferguson MP, Yuan Yang MP, Noah Law MP, Alex Davies-Jones MP, Rupa Huq MP and Mayor Kim McGuinness.
Our events took place either in the heart of the ACC Liverpool conference centre (meeting room 11a) or just around the corner at Revolución de Cuba on the iconic Albert Dock, where we served complimentary refreshments throughout.

In partnership with the Parent Infant Foundation, LabourList ran a weekday lunchtime online webinar joined by Rosie Wrighting (National Health Mission Champion), Sarah Smith (National Opportunity Mission Champion) and experts from across the sector.

Labour Party Conference – October 2024
The LabourList team were thrilled to have hosted our biggest programme yet in 2024 – from major rallies and standout panels to our unmissable annual karaoke and DJ night at The Bierkeller Bar.
Our events, which ran from Sunday to Tuesday, tackled the key issues shaping Labour’s agenda: childcare reform, clean air and health inequality, conspiracy theories, public transport, clean growth, and the electoral strategy to win the next election.
We were delighted to be joined by MPs such as, Lisa Nandy, Liz Kendall, Alison McGovern, Jon Ashworth, Sarah Jones, Simon Lightwood, Stephen Morgan, Stella Creasy, Afzal Khan, Josh Simons, Dan Norris, Alex Mayer, Joani Reid and Adam Jogee, as well as regional leaders like Andy Burnham and Kim McGuinness. We also heard from union leaders and campaigners – including Mike Katz and Matt Wrack.

LabourList General Election Watch Party – July 2024
LabourList ran one of the best election watch parties, hosted in the iconic Royal Vauxhall Tavern! It was a sellout event and was featured as the party to attend by various media outlets.

LabourList Christmas Party – December 2023
We co-hosted a Christmas Party, with Strand Partners, in a venue near Parliament. The evening featured festive tunes, a special festive cocktail, and appearances from then shadow cabinet MPs, Jonathan Ashworth, Thangam Debbonaire, Anneliese Dodds, Louise Haigh and Emily Thornberry, who mingled and spoke with attendees.
Autumn Statement Review Webinar – November 2023
LabourList, in partnership with The Shopkeepers’ Campaign, hosted a panel event following the Autumn Statement to analyse the then Conservative Government’s plans for supporting high streets. The discussion examined both headline announcements and the fine print, focusing on the urgent challenges facing shops, cafes and retailers across the UK. Speakers included LabourList editor Tom Belger, British Retail Consortium’s Stephen Bethel, Vivienne King of The Shopkeepers’ Campaign, James Murray MP, Jerry Schurder of Gerald Eve, and Liz Twist MP.
